MOSS and SAP Archivelink
iNet.DM for MOSS is based on the SAP ArchiveLink Content Server Interface.
Documents can be retrieved from the screen of the SAP business object screens (SAPGUI) or via attributes of the document itself from within SAP or utilizing the Office and Portal framework of MOSS from desktop apps or via the SharePoint Portal itself.
Documents can also be retrieved from within the SAP system using attributes or full text search facility of the MOSS ECM.

iNet.DM for SAP R/3® provides a seamless archival and retrieval integration between SAP R/3® software and the MOSS ECM system. By making any R/3 process driven document available from any R/3 user's desktop, iNet.DM overcomes the time-consuming and labor intensive process of delivering, copying and filing.
The documents to be potentially stored in MOSS range from proprietary SAP format document typically (such as financial documents, purchase orders, closed master records) to 3rd party documents created, viewed and/or edited by other applications (like Microsoft Office) and have significance or bearing on business processes or workflows within the SAP system itself (for example, technical drawings referenced from bill of materials stored in the SAP database).
iNet.DM maps the file attributes and document/document components used in SAP to appropriate SharePoint attributes and smart folder/document. iNet DM further provides a SAP defined interface to support all the SAP/R3 processes to Create, update, delete and search documents in the repository.
